STA, 13 June 2018 - Workers from Croatia will apparently get free access to the Slovenian labour market on 1 July because the parliament was dissolved before discussing the outgoing government's proposal to extend the restrictions. 

STA, 22 May - Slovenia's economy has slowed down slightly in the first quarter of the year but remained well above the average of eurozone members, Banka Slovenije said on Tuesday in its macroeconomic trends review for May. It expects the investment cycle to continue, adding that the needs of the labour market are being met above all by foreign workforce.

This view was shared by representatives of political parties who took part in a panel discussion on poverty, which was organised in Ljubljana on Friday as part of the European Minimum Income Network project.

He believes the country will not be able to sustain the positive business trends without foreign workforce.
