STA, 9 July 2018 - The latest data provided by the police and the government office for migrants show that the number of illegal border crossings and asylum applications in Slovenia dropped significantly in June following a spike in May.

STA, 9 July 2018 - The newspaper Dnevnik reports on Monday that Slovenian NGOs had found out that police officers are forcedly rejecting asylum seekers who cross the Slovenian border in the south-eastern region of Bela Krajina and returning them to Croatia. The police and the Ministry of the Interior have meanwhile denied these reports.
