Slovenia builds more connections with Asia.

April 20, 2018

Ex-Yu Aviation News is reporting that All Nippon Airways (ANA) is considering introducing regular scheduled services to Ljubljana, in addition to its summer charter flights. In summer 2018 there are five charters between the two nations, with the Japanese cities served being Fukuoka, Sapporo, Tokyo Narita and Nagoya, with more details at the site.

While East Asia’s visitors to Slovenia are led by those from South Korea, which, along with China, has seen rapid growth in this area in the last few years, the numbers of Japanese tourists have remained relatively stable, with the figure rising just 1% in 2017, to a little over 30,000. More details on recent trends in tourists from East Asia - how many come, how long they stay, and where - can be found here.
