It was a good showing this weekend for Slovenian women in Hungary, in the capital to compete for the 2018 Budapest Judo Grand Prix.

Maruša Stangar came third in the under 48 kg weight class, with her perfomances in the last two rounds shown below.

The semi-final Stangar vs Tamami Yamazaki (Japan)

The grand-final, Stangar versus Milica Nikolić (Serbia)

Andreja Leski also came third, this time in the up to 63 kg class, and her last two round were as follows.

Leski vs Aimi Nouchi (Japan) in the semi-final

Leski vs Stefanie Tremblay (Canada) in the grand-final

With regard to the overall medal rankings, Slovenia was in 12th place, just behind Great Britain and ahead of Israel.
