STA, 28 September 2018 - In the first piece of legislation put forward since the Marjan Šarec government was sworn in two weeks ago, the Ministry of Culture is proposing to secure an extra EUR 123m for culture between 2020 and 2026.

The demands remain the same: police work must be valued according to the officers' tasks, powers, responsibilities and danger they are exposed to daily.

STA, 28 September 2018 - The general government generated a surplus of EUR 151m or 1.3% of GDP in the second quarter, the highest quarterly surplus in 19 years. This is the fifth consecutive quarter with a surplus, the Statistics Office said on Friday. Consolidated general government gross debt decreased to 72.8% of GDP.
