DELO

US administration
"Trump replaces oil man with secret service man": US President Donald Trump has named Mike Pompeo, the CIA head thus far, the new secretary of state ahead of the talks with North Korea. Delo does not see the replacement of Rex Tillerson as a surprise, as Trump and him have had very different views of foreign affairs. (front page, 6)

Education strike
"Another strike in April should there be no agreement": The paper says the main reason for the failure to wrap up a deal with the teachers' trade union was the opposition of another trade union group which also wanted more as a result of what the teachers would have received. (front page, 2)

Motocross
"'One needs to get up after every fall'": Slovenia's motocross star Tim Gajser is returning to the MXGP circuit after he broke his jaw. (front page, 20)

DNEVNIK

Education strike
"Shuffling among trade unions leads to empty schools": The paper says it is clear from unofficial reports that the deal with the teachers failed because other trade unions would not accept them advancing by three or four wage brackets while only a two-bracket raise is envisaged for the public sector in general. (front page, 2)

Public transport
"Noisy Sunday greetings from the bus garage": Sunday evenings have become unbearable for the residents of the tower houses around the Ljubljana bus garage, as the buses which were sitting idle during the weekend are turned on and left running for two hours. (front page, 9)

"Dnevnik's photo journalists as event hunters": An exhibition featuring the work of four Dnevnik photo journalists will open at the Cankarjev Dom arts centre in Ljubljana this evening. (front page, 32)

FINANCE

Pre-election legislation
"Which laws is Cerar's team in a hurry to adopt before the election": The paper says that the government has broken all records in the last three months, having put forward almost four times more bills than is the average. (front page, 2-3)

Pharma stores dispute
