Election is nearing
"Cerar government era ending, tasks remain": The period of a lot of promises and little work has begun as deputy group heads started consulting with President Borut Pahor on the date of the general election. (front page, 2)

Trade war
"Trump introduces tariffs on steel and aluminium": US President Donald Trump yesterday made good on his controversial promise and introduced a 25% tariff on imports of steel and a 10% tariff on aluminium. (front page)

Bank robbery
"Bare handed police officer takes robber down": An armed man tried to rob an office of the Delavska Hranilnica bank in Ljubljana, but was prevented by an off-duty police officer who was in the bank at the time. (front page)

Energy
"Croatians failed to deliver us electricity in the middle of worst cold - was it our fault?": Slovenia was almost left without electricity as Croatia cut off its supply to the north in the middle of the coldest spell. The brand-new gas generator of the Brestanica plant saved us from the dark and the cold. (front page, 3)

Election is nearing
"Parliamentary election probably to be held on 10 June": President Borut Pahor yesterday consulted with the deputy group heads on the date of the general election, with most of them preferring 10 June. (front page)

Ski resorts
