Traffic has been hampered in some parts of the country after the snow line descended to the lowlands on Monday.

Traffic has been slowed on Kozina-Vrhnika highway due to snowplows clearing the way, while on the roads Idrija - Godovič, Col - Črni Vrh - Godovič, Hrib - MP Podplanina and on the Croatian side of the border crossings Babno Polje and Petrin trucks with trailers and semi-trailers are not allowed on the road.

Vršič Pass is closed for all traffic due to snow and landslides on the road. Jezerski vrh is closed as well, while snow chains are mandatory on the Austrian side of Korensko sedlo and Ljubelj Pass.

Some inner karst region roads are closed due to floods: Planina – Unec, Podskrajnik – Rakov Škocjan and Laze – Planina.

The precipitation will stop Tuesday morning and the north-east wind will quiet down. The lowest morning temperature will be from -4 to 2, at sea 6 ° C.

On Tuesday, it will be mostly cloudy, in the basins it may be foggy in the morning, but will clear out from the west. The highest daily temperatures will range from 1 to 7, by the coast to 10 ° C.
