State broadcaster RTV Slovenia reports that many roads are closed and power is out for many in Gorenjsko, Kočevsko, Štajersko and Koroško, with around 600 building and 700 roads affected by floods. The report highlighted the problems in Jezersko, much of which remains without electricity and with fallen trees blocking many roads, although the main road to Jezersko has now reopened.
Around 8,500 homes still lack power, with the outages especially severe in the Elektro Ljubljana market, although electricity is expected to be turned on again today. In numbers, the broadcaster stated that as of this morning there are approximately 5,000 households in the dark in Kočevsko, 1,600 in Koroška, 1,000 near Maribor, and 700 in the Ljubljana area.

Irena Majcen, the Minister of the Environment and Spatial Planning (Ministrica Za Okolje In Prostor), said in a news conference that the authorities were monitoring the situation and, although conditions had shown some improvement, people should prepare for more problems in the days ahead with bad weather forecast for the weekend, with the possibility of more flooding due to snowfall that is later melted by rain.
