The website Emerging Europe notes that of the 14 “emerging” European nations included in Brand Finance’s 2018 Nation Brand report (PDF), Slovenia has seen the greatest growth in value. The consultancy firm now values the brand “Slovenia” at US$89 billion, a rise of 29% on last year. As Konrad Jagodziński, communications director at Brand Finance told the website, as “the foremost example of peaceful transition in the Western Balkans, Slovenia boasts a stable economy and a stable government system with a solid perspective for future growth. For investors and visitors alike, it simply stands out amongst its CEE neighbours.”

However, despite Slovenia’s rapid growth the value of its brand was well below the leader of the emerging group, Poland, at US$654 billion and ranking 23rd globally, in comparison to Slovenia's rank of 62nd, just behind Panama and ahead of Sri Lanka. With regard to other ex-Yugoslav nations, Croatia was valued at US$42billion (ranking 77th) and Serbia US$40 (80th), while the others were not included in the study, which only follows 100 countries.

The top 5 nation brands in the world were rated as the United States (US$25,899 billion), China (US$12,779), Germany (US$5,147), the United Kingdom (US$3,750 billion), and Japan (US$3,598 billion).

As noted above, a PDF of the full report can be found here.
