Low carbon society
"Future should be embraced not feared": Unless Europe wakes up soon, all the new technology in the electric cars industry and energy sector will be in the hands of China, the paper says. (front page, 3)

Delo's exporting conference
"Risks and opportunities for exporters": Western Africa, Georgia, Pakistan were highlighted as potential new destinations for Slovenia's exports at a conference hosted by the publisher Delo in Bled on Wednesday. (front page, 17)

New systematisation in health
"Medical work misunderstood": The UKC Ljubljana hospital has confirmed that it is preparing a new systematisation of jobs, which will affect all of its 8,200 employees. (front page, 4)

"Slovenia did not receive a cent last year": According to a member of the European Court of Auditors Samo Jereb, Slovenia did not receive a cent of EU funds last year. The Slovenian Court of Audit says many Slovenian projects are poorly prepared. (front page, 2)

Renovation of Ljubljana's 19th-century sugar factory
"Strabag starts renovating Cukrana": The renovation of Cukrarna, a 19th-century sugar factory on the edge of the Ljubljana city centre, officially started yesterday with a ceremony featuring Ljubljana mayor and city councillors. (front page)

Elderly
