Arbitration
"Juncker's hide-and-seek with Slovenia": Dirty details about the expert opinion of the European Commission's Legal Service on the Slovenian-Croatian border arbitration implementation continue surfacing. It has now become clear that Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker never put the legal opinion on the agenda. (front page, 2)

Intelligence services
"Šarec looking for SOVA boss he could trust": Prime Minister Marjan Šarec is mulling replacing the top man at the intelligence agency SOVA, but changes in the intelligence and security system will not end there. (front page, 2)

Cancer
"Eight times the number of cancer patients than 70 years ago": The number of cancer patients is growing fast, with the figure in Slovenia increasing eight-fold since 1950, when 100 cancer patients were put on the first national registry of cancer patients. (front page, 4)

"Houses, flats, suites and bars on sale in Ljubljana and at the coast": The paper runs a list of what it believes are the best deals at auctions in October so far, including a nearly 40-square-metre flat in Ljubljana's Fužine with the asking price of EUR 36,450.

"United must sell sports channels from Sport Klub programming segment": The Competition Protection Agency has issued a decision under which United Group, the owner of cable operator Telemach, must sell 13 sports channels under the brand name Sport Klub. In principle it has six months to comply with the decision. (front page, 6, 7)

"Zdravko Kačič officially new chancellor": Zdravko Kačič has officially become the new chancellor of the University of Maribor, with various stakeholders hoping he would bring change. (front page, 2, 3)

Investigation
"Investigation of payments to healer": Police carried out investigations at seven locations around Ljubljana and Maribor, with four people suspected in the case of Armenian healer Ruben Papian who allegedly received EUR 70,000 in taxpayer money for studies he had allegedly not written. (front page, 2)
