Social services
"Less red tape to get social transfers": Social services are getting reorganised as of 1 October. From January on, beneficiaries will get indicative calculation of annual benefits for which they will only need to ask once. (front page, page 2)

EU copyright directive
"Tomorrow important day for authors and the web": The directive on copyright in the digital single market which the European Parliament will take a vote on tomorrow has been supplemented by some 200 amendments, while differences remain. (front page, page 4)

Bids for C-bank governor
"Masten keen to get into the bank by the side door": Although he has not applied to fill the post of the new governor of the central bank, economist Igor Masten is tipped as a candidate. Heads of coalition deputy factions are meeting tomorrow in a bid to agree on a single candidate. (front page, page 2)

Festival of Slovenian Film
