Environment
"Critically endangered olm in race against trucks": Haulier Avguštin Finec has built a parking space for his trucks near the stream Virski Studenec, the home of critically endangered olms, despite the red light from the Institute of Nature Conservation. (front page, 4)

Tourism
"They live out the summer without vacation": While most people go on vacation, some people including tandem parachutists, have very little time to spare during the summer and can only take vacation after the peak season. (front page, 9)

Heatwave
"Europe scorching in heat": Meteorologists warn of extreme summer heat in the coming days. The mercury is expected to rise above 45 degrees Celsius in Iberian and Italian peninsulas over the weekend. (front page)

Ski resort
