Migrations
"Messages to Croatia that it should better defend border": Slovenian law enforcement believes "far too many" illegal migrants reach the Slovenian-Croatian border despite Croatia's efforts. This could lead to additional measures, Slovenia has warned. (front page, 2)

GDP growth
"How does growth reflect in pockets": Second-quarter GDP figures for Slovenia are not known yet, but the economy is expected to continue growing robustly. The positive trends have translated to workers' pockets, but not sufficiently, according to unionist Lidija Jerkič. (front page, 3)

More people will visit the stores and bars and prices of real estate in streets usually go up following a facelift, but such streets start adapting to tourists over time, forgetting locals. FINANCE

Koper-Divača rail upgrade
"Another bill for second rail track: financial counselling for nearly a million euro!": Consultancy Deloitte will advise the state on the building of the rail upgrade between the Koper port and the inland hub Divača. The price tag for the year-and-a-half contract stands at EUR 830,000, VAT included. (front page, 6)

Real estate
"Bežigrad: How do prices of flats grow and how much do you have to pay for them this year?": The paper runs a feature about the prices of real estate in Ljubljana's borough of Bežigrad. Over the past three years, prices of flats went up on average 10% a year, reaching over EUR 2,600 per square metre this year. (front page, 4, 5)
