Hailstorms
"Man is the only one who can lose in the weather game": Global warming is producing more powerful storms and our way of regulating water flows is only increasing flood damage. (front page, 4)

ECB fiscal policy
"ECB's printing of fresh euros ends this year": The European Central Bank is ending its quantitative easing programme at the end of the year, but it does not plan to change the current historically low interest rates. (front page, 3)

DeSUS crisis
"Will Karl Erjavec stay in the saddle?": Nobody can predict if Erjavec remains the president of the Pensioners' Party (DeSUS) today. His potential successor denies having met Janez Janša of the election winner SDS. (page 2)

Hailstorms
"No state aid for agro damage after hail": While hail has been wreaking havoc since 2 May, the government has decided against inspecting the damage - the farmers had the chance to insure their crops and had EUR 3.1m in subsidies available for this purpose. (front page, 4)

Privatisation
"How many times has Slovenia driven away buyers": The paper looks at the fate of some of the biggest sales of companies executed in independent Slovenia and at cases where the sale was stopped. It argues prices cannot be high if a general aversion to buyers is present. (front page, 2-3)

ECB fiscal policy
"ECB boss Draghi: Money printing to end this year": The European Central Bank has announced determined steps towards a stricter fiscal policy. (front page, 6)

Cinkarna Celje sale
"What is titanium dioxide which has been securing profit for Cinkarna Celje": The paper explains that the prices of titanium dioxide have been at record levels, allowing the chemical company that was targeted for takeover to almost reach half of last year's record profit in the first quarter of this year. (pages 4-5)

World Cup
"Time for the spectacle": The football tournament in which Russia invested EUR 11bn could not have started better for the hosts, which swept away Saudi Arabia 5:0 for their first World Cup win in 16 years. (front page, 23)

Croatian workers
