Treatment of children with congenital heart disease
"Doctors leave, little patients stay": Slovenia's only medical team treating children with congenital heart disease is facing a collapse after three doctors handed in their notices on Thursday. (front page, page 3)

Parliamentary election
"I would not mind forming a govt with NSi and Tonin": Social Democrats (SD) president Dejan Židan said he will not change his mind about not entering an anti-Janša partnership with Ljubljana Mayor Zoran Janković. He would on the other hand not be against working with Tonin. (front page teaser for an interview in the Saturday supplement)

Israel's attacks in Syria
"Birth of another big conflict": Only a day after the US withdrew from the Iran nuclear deal, Israel attacked several Iranian targets in Syria, mostly in the vicinity of Damascus, on Thursday. (front page, page 6)

New construction fee
"Town Hall hurriedly imposes new fee for land use change requests": As of 1 June, municipalities will be able to decide whether they will start charging requests for land use change. Ljubljana has already imposed a EUR 300 fee. (front page, page 3)

US-Iran conflict
