STA, February 15, 2018 – Slovenian acrobatic group the Dunking Devils has impressed fans worldwide with its series of videos on Facebook. Launched on Facebook's new platform Facebook Watch, the first two episodes of the series Fly Guys have gone viral.

The ten-episode series was shot exclusively for Facebook Watch with which the social network plans to compete with platforms such as Netflix, YouTube and Amazon Prime.

The Dunking Devils were one of the few performers whose videos were financed by Facebook at the launch of the new service to promote it and encourage others to make their own videos.

The Dunking Devils thus joined Bear Grylls, Mike Rowe, the National Geographic, Business Insider, Vice, BuzzFeed and Hollywood starts Bill Murray, Jessica Alba, Elizabeth Olsen and Orlando Bloom.

The collaboration with Mark Zuckerberg and a Hollywood film crew is a dream-come-true for the group, the Dunking Devils said.

They were shooting the series for two months and a half at ten different locations. Nine episodes were shot in Slovenia. Even though only two episodes have been published so far, the Fly Guys have already attracted more than four million viewers.

In each of the ten 12-15-minute episodes, the guys come up with a stunt that has not been caught on camera yet. Then they plan and practice the stunt until they make it perfect.

After an extreme slam dunk show on a speeding train in the first episode, the Dunking Devils set out to do a fly-over a moving 1920 museum train with the Russian swing in the second.

The full service of Facebook Watch is not available in Slovenia yet, but users can watch the videos published. The second episode of Fly Guys was aired last Friday and is available here.
