The prestigious American accelerator SXSW from Austin, Texas, is inviting Slovenian high-tech startups to apply for their 2018 SXSW Accelerator Pitch Event which will take place on 10 and 11 March 2018 as part of the renowned SXSW Festival, the webportal www.startup.si announces.
The application deadline is Friday, 10 November 2017. Applications cost 220 dollars to process, but it is possible to apply to have this fee reduced if you discuss the issue with the organizers.
Your company is eligible to apply to attend the event if it fulfills the following criteria:
The company’s product / service must have launched no earlier than March 10, 2016.
The company’s product / service must not be launched after June 10, 2018.
Companies will be allowed to submit only one product / service to the SXSW Accelerator Pitch Event.
Companies who submit more than one product / service will not be eligible to participate in the SXSW Accelerator Pitch Event.
Founders of the applying startup must retain some portion of ownership in the company to be eligible to participate.
The company must not have raised over ten million in funds from combined funding sources.
The product or service must fall within one of the Accelerator Pitch Event categories: Augmented and Virtual Reality, Enterprise and Smart Data, Entertainment and Content, Health and Wearable, Hyper-Connected Communities, Payment and FinTech, Security and Privacy, Social and Culture, Sports and Performance Data, and Transportation.
