Bojan the Bear is the most successful series of short cartoons in Slovenia, directed by Branko Ranitović and drawn by Pavao Štalter. The wordless cartoon is accompanied by music composed by one of the greatest Slovenian pop music composers, Mojmir Sepe.
The cartoons were produced for five seasons, and allowed Slovenian parents to sleep a little longer on Sunday mornings for over twenty years. Here are some examples of the stories that let mom and dad get some rest:
Season 1: 1978-79

Season 3: 1984-85

Season 4: 1986-88

Season 5: 1995-98 the change in style seen in this season can be attributed to Dušan Povh, who at this time changed from editor to director/screenwriter and Lado Jakša, who joined Mojmir Sepe in writing the music.
