Fresh from a Canadian tour with Arcade Fire, the Belgrade-based Repetitor will be bringing their high energy live show back to Ljubljana next Thursday (July 5), with support from Seine, folk punks from Zagreb. You thus have the chance to see two bands from the ex-yugo region in one of its coolest venues, the iconic former army barracks known as Metelkova.
If you’re not familiar with the trio – Boris on guitar, Ana-Marija on bass and Milena on drums – then check out some of the videos that follow, where you’ll see and hear why Repetitor have managed to make such a name for themselves.
If that seems like your kind of thing then seize the chance to see the band in action next week, as while they tour regularly it’s not known when they’ll be playing here again. The show is Thursday, June 5, in the Letni vrt part of Gala Hala, Metelkova. The doors open at 20:00 and the show starts at 21:00. Tickets are 12 euros from MojeKarte.si , or 15 at the door.
