Tax Return Deadline Fast Approaching: May 31st

The Financial Administration of the Republic of Slovenia (FURS) reminds taxpayers that the deadline for filling their 2019 tax report is fast approaching.

Due to COVID 19 pandemic, the deadline was extended from March 31^st to May 31^st this year.

However, since May 31^st 2020 is on Sunday, the last day to submit tax reports is in fact June 1^st.

Furthermore, taxpayers are required to pay their tax obligations within a 30 day deadline from the submission of their tax return. If they submit their tax return on June 1^st, then any eventual tax liabilities must be paid by July 1^st at the latest.
