The crypto world may have cooled down from the dizzy heights of December 2017, but Slovenia is still making news on the scene, if not for the various developments at BTC City, then for Monday’s announced sale of Bitstamp, the biggest Slovene success in the field to date.

Yesterday also saw another piece of local news from the world of fintech, with the report that the US-based company CoinText.io has launched its Bitcoin Cash (BCH) wallet in Slovenia, which enables users to send cryptocurrency via SMS texts for a flat fee of €0.017 ($0.02), meaning that even users without internet access can send or receive funds

Slovenia is the fourth country in which the service has been launched, joining Taiwan, Hungary and Puerto Rico.

You can get a CoinText wallet in Slovenia by texting ZACNI to 386 5130 0586, and learn more about the company and its work here.
