The TV show that might make the country even more attractive for Koreans.

In an article on recent trends in tourists from East Asia that we wrote earlier this year, based on data from 2016, we noted that a lot of tourists were coming to Slovenia from South Korea, with the peninsular nation ranking a surprising fifth overall in terms of visitor numbers.

This popularity is perhaps one reason, in addition to the stunning scenery, picturesque towns, ease of transport between varied settings, and government subsidies, why the producers of The Black Knight: The Man Who Guards Me (흑기사) chose the country as one of the show’s locations.

Per Wikipedia, this TV drama is “about a pure man who accepts a dangerous destiny for the woman he loves. It is a love story that spans over two hundred years”, with one thread set in present day Slovenia, as seen in the following clips.
