Although the weather wasn't on our side at all (it was too foggy every day) and some locations were unreachable for us because the snow was too deep and we didn't have the right equipment, we managed to take the best out of it.
Bohinj offers so many beautiful locations, especially for nature lovers. And Bohinj lake is one of the most famous ones. It's the largest natural lake in Slovenia. That place has left us mesmerized! Just walking near the shore, enjoying in the beautiful scenery and that beautiful mountain reflection on the lake was incredible.
We also visited Savica Waterfall, a must-see place for all the first timers in Bohinj. The waterfall is divided into two parts and the bigger one was completely frozen. As we're adventurers we decided to go close to the waterfall, and I can tell you that that feeling, being close to it, was so amazing! We felt so small... Moments like that one are our favorite and that's why we love doing what we do.
We also went to Mostnica gorge. Although we saw only small part of it as the snow was too deep. It was wonderful. So peaceful. We definitely want to come back in spring or summer. And Pokljuka plateau is gorgeous!
