STA, 13 October - Slovenia continued their series of defeats in UEFA Nations League as they played Norway in Oslo on Saturday. Following a lacklustre performance, the Slovenian national football team were beaten 1:0, with Norway's Ole Selnaes scoring the only goal of the game.

The Slovenian side was heavily affected by absences of key players, including star goalkeeper Jan Oblak, but it failed to impress nevertheless.

On the other hand, Norway were not spectacular either, but managed to squeeze in the only goal in injury time at the end of the first half.

Slovenia is at the bottom of Group 3 of the UEFA Nations League C with no points and will now have to start thinking about avoiding relegation from League C instead of advancing to League B, which serves as part of the qualification process for UEFA Euro 2020.

Following three consecutive defeats against Bulgaria, Cyprus and now Norway, Slovenia, headed by coach Tomaž Kavčič, will get the chance to win their first points on Tuesday, when it plays Cyprus in Ljubljana.
