STA, 13 August 2018 - Tooling maker Unior is developing into a major global player in the field of specialised tools for bicycles. The company has also been cooperating with Sky, the leading road cycling team in the world, to develop a repair stand which will become available in the coming weeks.

The road bicycle repair stand was completed after two years of close cooperation between Unior's engineers and the British team's experts.

Sky was testing the beta version of the stand in the last two seasons, when it also secured the overall wins at the Tour de France through Chris Froome and Geraint Thomas.

Unior, which has also been equipping the teams Trek-Segafredo, Quick-Step Floors Cycling and Movista, has expanded its cycling tools line to over 400 tolls, which are available in over 60 counties around the world.

Another major project in the past two years was the release of two extensive manuals for the servicing of bicycles. It is available in English and French, while additional translations are in the pipeline.

"The manuals are an important link for the cooperation with schools for bicycle mechanics. Unior is the official partner of more than 20 schools around the world," the Zreče-based company has said.
